Show your child how to tear a medium sized (2 in.) piece of brightly colored paper and fold it into a small paper ball (see the Caterpillar project). Ask the child to dip each ball into liquid glue and stick them to the top of each flower stem. Show your child how to make flower petals by tearing small pieces of colored paper. Show the child how he/she can apply glue to each petal with the glue stick. Attach petals to the center of each flower as desired. |
