Halloween Craft for Kids: Black Cat from a Paper Plate
Make a cat from a paper plate. This project develops motor skills. It's simple and is suitable for 5-6 year old children.
Materials:
1. A paper plate.
2. Black paint and a brush.
3. Liquid glue or a glue stick.
4. Crayon or marker.
5. Scissors.

Ask your child to draw the cat blueprint on the paper plate as shown below. Or do it yourself if your kid is younger than 5 years old.

Ask your kid to cut out cat's head, tail, body, and eyes from the paper plate. To make a black cat for Halloween, ask your child to paint head, tail, and body of the cat in black. For other occasions, cat can be left unpainted or painted in a color/pattern of your child's choice. |

Finally, ask your child to glue all the parts together, as shown. You can attach it to a wall or a window using double-sided tape. |
